MEEM Center for Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean Studies is the first think tank to be fully dedicated to studying the evolving relationship between the countries of the neighboring geopolitical regions of the Middle East and the Mediterranean; with a special focus on political, economic, and military affairs.

What we do?
We produce in-depth research, in Arabic and English, on cross-national and cross-regional affairs within and between the geopolitical regions of the Middle East and the Mediterranean, with special focus on politics, economy, and defense matters.
Who can benefit from our work?
Global audience interested in the politics, economy, and defense affairs of the Middle East and the Mediterranean regions. That includes: decision-makers at public and business sectors, diplomats, academicians, and interested media professionals.

To encourage cross-regional dialogue and cooperation between the countries of the Middle East and the Mediterranean regions, in a way that serves the political, economic, and security interests of their people. That is through:

Providing decision-makers, at political, economic, and defense sectors in the Middle East and the Mediterranean regions, with creative applicable solutions for their chronic geopolitical and bilateral conflicts.

Producing bi-lingual comprehensive research that can enrich regional and global academic debates and public opinion discussions on the political developments happening inside and across the two regions of the Middle East and the Mediterranean.

إصدار دراسات وبحوث متعمقة، باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، بشأن التحولات الجيوسياسية، على المستوى المحلي والإقليمي، بين دول منطقتي الشرق الأوسط وشرق البحر المتوسط، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على التفاعلات السياسية والاقتصادية والعسكرية فيما بينها.
المهمة والرؤية:
تشجيع الحوار والتعاون الإقليمي بين دول الشرق الأوسط والبحر المتوسط بما يخدم المصالح السياسية والاقتصادية والأمنية لشعوبها. وذلك من خلال:

تزويد متخذي القرار في القطاعات السياسية والاقتصادية والدفاعية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط ومنطقة البحر المتوسط بحلول مبتكرة وقابلة للتطبيق للصراعات الجيوسياسية المزمنة التي تعاني منها المنطقتين.
